Your eyesight deserves your attention. Pursue the best possible care for your eyes-both natural and regular checkups.
Relax Your Mind and Eyes For Optimal Health
To keep your mind sharp, keep your vision sharp over the years too. The two go hand-in-hand really; what you see with your eyes, you can then remember. And, the better your vision, the better you can see the image. Wouldn't it be nice if both your mind and your eyes could remain healthy for years and years to come?
Healthy vision and the ability to focus mentally are skills that are connected. Stress and emotional pressure can limit the ability of both the eyes and the mind. So, anything that you can do to promote relaxation and peace will add to your overall health.
One way that you can test the current state of your eyes is to practice mental memory. Try covering one eye and looking quickly at an image with the uncovered eye. Next, close both eyes and keep the image in your mind as long as you can. In your mind, count how many seconds the image stays in your thoughts before you cannot see it anymore. Now switch eyes and repeat.
Another way to relax your eyes and mind is to close your eyes and only think about pictures and thoughts that make you happy. Even just closing your eyes and contemplating the darkness that you "see" can be relaxing. Open your eyes and try again. Hopefully, each time you do this exercise, you will notice an improvement and change in your state of relaxation and perhaps in you vision too.
Another relaxation exercise can be done while lying in bed. As you lie there, consider all the positive things that happened throughout the day. Recreate the scenes and the live pictures of the even in color and detail as best you can. Thinking positive thoughts before you sleep will clear your head, relax your mind and body, and will prepare you for good rest.
"Secret" Eye Exercises Improve Vision
Most people who have impaired vision are under the impression that their vision is genetically acquired. Actually, regardless of one's current vision ability, natural remedies exist. However, these exercises that improve your vision are often kept secret. Why? The eye care industry makes quite a bit of money. Obviously, if people learned, practiced, and believed that they could "eye-exercise" their way back to healthy vision, that business would be null and void.
So, people who are not aware of these eye exercises, or perhaps are aware of them but are yet to put faith in them, continue to buy and lose glasses and contacts. This is a travesty in some ways. Money is being spent that need not be spent. If you knew someone who improved his vision from 20/400 to 20/20 in just nine month by doing exercises, then might you believe?
I did this. And, I will tell you how I did it, and I will tell you that I am not alone.
1. First, I always make sure that my eyes are not being strained. If they start to feel tired, I rest, I close them, or I palm them.
2. Next, I make sure to get sunlight each day. Sunlight has proven to enhance your eyesight.
3. I researched and then practiced several eye exercises.
4. I practiced meditation to lighten the stress I feel in my day-to-day life. This meditation is simply a matter of sitting comfortably and concentrating all my thoughts only on my own breathing.
Take note that each of these points are relaxation-focused. "Trying" to improve your vision will not help, but will more likely make things worse. Relax, rest, and restore your eyes to health.
